国际最新研发空气芯光纤:可降低光损耗提升通信效能|亚洲色欲综合一区二区三区

  中新网北京9月2日电 (记者 孙自法)施普林格·自然旗下专业学术期刊《自然-光子学》最新发表一篇物理学论文称,一种最新研发的通过空气而不是玻璃导光的空气芯光纤,或能打破目前光纤光损耗的最低纪录,意味着信号在传输过程中的衰减将更少。

  同时,空气芯光纤的设计还能让传输速度提升45%,且无须信号增强便能将更多数据传输更远距离。

  该论文介绍,用于通信的光纤通常为实心石英玻璃的设计,虽然经过数十年的优化,但信号损耗一直是个限制因素。因此,这种光纤在传输约20公里后会损耗约一半的光,这就要求经常使用光纤放大器来增强长距离传输的信号,如洲际陆地或海底光缆。降低信号损耗程度能在狭窄波长范围内实现,但会限制可传输的数据量,这在过去几十年里一直阻碍着光通信的发展。

  在本项研究中,论文通讯作者、微软Azure Fiber的Francesco Poletti率领团队研发的光纤中间为空气芯,周围包裹精细的二氧化硅薄环来导光。他们用实验室实验测试这些光纤时,发现这些光纤在一个光通信常用波长的光损耗为每公里0.091分贝。由此一来,波长合适的光信号或能在需要增强前多传输约50%的距离。

  此外,该空气芯光纤的设计还比之前的光纤设计拥有更宽的传输窗口,即光传输时信号损耗和失真最小的波长范围。

  论文作者表示,如果使用更大的空气芯,此类新型光纤有望实现更低的损耗,不过,这仍需后续开展进一步研究的验证。(完)
