中新网绍兴11月14日电(鲍梦妮)11月13日至14日,第五届水文化国际研讨会在浙江绍兴举行。会议期间,希腊雅典国立技术大学博士费沃斯·G·萨金蒂斯表示,大禹和赫拉克勒斯虽处于不同的神话体系,但他们治水的故事体现出东西方文明在集体无意识层面的深刻联结。

在中国神话中,大禹历经13年,期间“三过家门而不入”,最终以疏导之法治理洪水、划分九州。在希腊神话故事中,宙斯之子赫拉克勒斯完成12项艰巨任务实现自我救赎,并在击败河神的过程中折断其角,此举被视作控制一条河流的支流。
“希腊和中国对洪水有相似的理解,即洪水是毁灭自然的恐惧,在混乱中获得掌控的人成为英雄。”费沃斯认为,上述两位英雄人物故事有多个共性特点,如均利用自然的特性驯服自然,都为集体利益牺牲小家等。
他以赫拉克勒斯打扫马厩为例介绍,马厩积累的粪便象征自然卫生与秩序的破坏,而赫拉克勒斯并未使用蛮力,巧妙地改变河道,借水流完成打扫,展示了人类利用自然之力的智慧。而大禹测量山川地形,沿着地势挖沟渠将洪水引向大海,如此“顺应自然”的理念成为后世防洪的典范。
“赫拉克勒斯和大禹启示我们,文明的建立离不开水利工程与对水的管理。这一理念在当今时代依然极具价值,我们在进行水管理时,必须与自然合作。”费沃斯强调。(完)
